The faithful wishing to attend the Pope’s Mass must register before entering the Fadea complex.
The date and time for Pope Leo XIV’s visit to Córdoba have been confirmed, but those wishing to attend the massive Mass must meet a prerequisite. Registration will be mandatory for all pilgrims seeking to enter the Argentine Aircraft Factory (Fadea) grounds.
The celebration is scheduled for Tuesday, November 10, at 10:00 a.m., on the esplanade of the Military Aviation School. Registration will be managed by the Archdiocese of Córdoba, which must implement a system allowing the faithful to sign up and obtain entry authorization.
This measure is a response to the scale of the gathering and the need to organize access and the distribution of people within the site. Authorities are currently working with an estimated capacity of around 750,000 people, divided into sectors holding approximately 10,000 to 12,000 attendees each.
Details of the operation
Fadea will begin preparing the infrastructure on October 1. The operation includes 58 pilgrim sectors, giant screens, sound systems, restrooms, and medical assistance. Plans also include setting up two field hospitals at different locations within the complex.
Another challenge involves transporting the thousands of faithful arriving from Córdoba and other provinces. Current plans provide space for approximately 8,000 private vehicles and 5,000 buses, though capacity is still being assessed and could be increased.
The provincial government is considering options such as transit hubs. The idea is for pilgrims to leave their vehicles at designated points and continue to Fadea via free shuttle buses.
